About seasonofearth
Sharing stories, tips and knowledge with a pinch of magic.
Here at Seasonofearth, you’ll find whimsical tales, recipes, guides, and anecdotes inspired by folklore and the natural world. If you feel at home daydreaming about forests, castles, faeries and other enchanting things, this blog is for you.
I also share inspiration on how we can remain connected to the earth and its seasons – even in this fast-paced, chaotic world. Inspired by principles of slow living, these posts are about gently embracing natureβs rhythms and adapting our habits and thought patterns in tune with the changes in our environment.
I hope you find that this is a cosy place to rest, retreat, and perhaps discover something new about nature and its mythology.
Celebrating the mystery of nature through heritage folklore and original works.
I’m fascinated by the complex relationship between humans and the earth. Every generation, culture, and individual interprets their surroundings differently. Depending upon who you talk to, nature can be good, evil, dangerous, healing, enchanted, ordinary, separate from or united with humanity.
Folktales connect us with our roots. They allow us to see the world through the eyes of those who came before us, rekindling valuable wisdom that would otherwise be lost to time.
I hope to help keep these traditional myths and legends alive by sharing them with you here and on my Instagram account. Across these spaces, you’ll also discover magical, nature-inspired pieces from my own experiences and imagination.
